Christianity Today sponsored a debate between Douglas Wilson and Christopher Hitchens, avowed atheist and author of God Is Not Great. The question for the debate is, Is Christianity good for the world? Let me just offer the observation that this debate is not being staged in Saudi Arabia or Sudan. Wonder how it came to be that this debate could be staged in a nation peaceably and freely? A’hm.
I can’t say enough about this exchange. It showcases gracious but unbending apologetic method in the robust presuppositional tradition of Van Til and Bahnsen. Wilson is a warrior. Hitchens is, well, persistent. Please go check it out here if you have not done so already.
